Zefin Gorecki – one of Riverside’s grateful patients, received the devastating news that he had cancer. One of his initial concerns was the thought of having to travel hours every day for his treatment; until he learned that he could receive the treatment he needed at Riverside, close to home.

Thanks to Riverside’s highly-skilled team of oncologists, dieticians, social workers, physical therapists, pharmacists and more Zef has returned to work full time and resumed his lifestyle of playing with his three-year-old son and spending time with his family. Zef’s life – and countless others have been saved because our community gives generously.

CHILDREN'S BOOK DONATION

During well visits, Riverside pediatricians talk with parents about the benefit of reading aloud and sharing with their young children. Each child receives a book to take home at their visit.
